Rookies obviously don’t get endorsement deals or sponsorships and I’m certainly no exception. However, as I continue down my path to whitewater enlightenment, I’ll inevitably be faced with many decisions, not only about events or conditions on the water, but also which products to choose and why. Also, in getting more exposure and comfort with the sport, I’ll find others who I gravitate more towards due to a shared passion for specific products or brands, geographic locations, kayaking styles, etc. Below, I’ll maintain a running list of links for those interested in following along or learning more:

  1. The U.S. National Whitewater Center (USNWC) located in Charlotte, North Carolina is where my journey began in March, 2018. According to their Mission Statement, “Dedicated to promoting healthy and active lifestyles and developing environmental stewardship, the USNWC is home to the world’s largest man-made whitewater river, offering premier outdoor activities including whitewater rafting and kayaking, flatwater kayaking, mountain biking, rock climbing, ziplines, a canopy tour, rope courses and various team building activities…”
